The perimeter security radar is typically developed for intrusion detection inside or outside the physical fence or wall. By adopting MIMO RF antenna design and FMCW signal processing technology, the radar has the characteristics of high accuracy, resolution and sensitivity. The radar outputs targets with sufficient data as target type, astar, speed, and angle.
Through intelligent AI learning algorithms, radar is able to distinguish human, vehicles, and others, effectively filtering false targets caused by trees and grass. This radar supports customization of included and excluded zones via web interface, and independently works as an intrusion detection sensor to a third party alarm device. It can also output target position to activate the CCTV camera, and be integrated into the security platform.
Compared to other traditional perimeter security technologies, perimeter security radar has much better performance in various adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog, haze, and dust. It can always report any potential intrusion events with minimum false rate.
